Welcome to Engineers Without Borders - USU
The USU chapter of Engineers Without Borders is a non-profit humanitarian organization. Contributions help us build projects that developing communities will own and operate. We work with communities worldwide to improve their quality of life by promoting sustainable development in water supply, housing construction, food production, energy, sanitation, transportation, communication, and employment. EWB’s vision is of a world where all people have the knowledge and resources needed to meet basic human needs. We involve international professionals and students in all fields as we build this vision together.
October 18, 2009 – 1:38 am
It’s really easy… (and you can feel good about spending time on Facebook. It’s probably open in another tab.)
1. Go to the America’s Giving Challenge site on Facebook. (You don’t have to be a Facebook member.)
2. Donate what you can.
3. Forward your receipt to our chapter treasure, Devin Stoker: devin.stoker@aggiemail.usu.edu. Put “Giving Challenge” in the subject line.
Lather, rinse, repeat. We get points for the number of donations-not the dollar amount.
You contribution will go to the Engineers Without Borders Utah State chapter. You can donate once a day until November 6th and each of your donations rack up a point for our organization. The minimum donation is $10, but it counts just as much as a $100 donation.
Donations will go towards building a latrine and fish pond in Uganda, improving an irrigation system in Peru, and assessing the needs of a community in Mexico.
